Trash/Recycling Update 7/17/19

trash

Good Afternoon TOG Residents!

First and foremost, we would like to take a moment to thank you all for being so patient through this whole trash/recycling process.  We know it hasn’t been easy, and more times than not it has been very frustrating.  Please know that we have been working very hard to rectify all of this, and get you all the service you need and deserve.

That being said, due to clear deficiencies with ESE,  the Town of Greensboro terminated our contract with them today.  Please, don’t panic, there will be NO INTERUPTION in trash/recycling pick-up.  Our new trash contractor will be starting as of Friday, and you will stay on a Friday pick-up rotation.

For residents that did receive bins, please place them curbside Thursday night even if they are empty.  Republic Waste will take care of picking up the recycle, and ESE stated that he will pick them up Friday.  Please keep them out curbside until he picks them up.

We will be working closely with Republic for the next few days to iron out every detail concerning this transition. We will then be constructing a letter that will be mailed out to everyone. This letter will outline every detail from when you should expect bins to a recycling flyer. We will also be updating our website and utilizing social media.

We will get it right this time, and we apologize for the previous errors on our part with this issue.

Please, if possible, share this with your neighbors that may not have internet.

Thanks again for your continued patience and support.
