IMPORTANT FACTUAL TYPO CORRECTION

The Town of Greensboro’s Emergency Declaration contained a drafting mistake which accidentally and wrongly stated there was a positive case of COVID-19 in Caroline County. There is NO positive case of COVID-19 in Caroline County at this time. The Town of Greensboro apologizes for the misunderstanding.
The Declaration intended to state that there was a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Talbot County but inadvertently stated it was in Caroline County. The Declaration has been revised and reposted.
Any announcements about cases of COVID-19 will be announced from the local Health Department through the Caroline County Department of Emergency Services and carolinecovid19.org
